According to Energy Star, LEDs are up to 90% more efficient than incandescent bulbs. LED lights last longer than traditional incandescent and fluorescent bulbs.
Led tape lights and other decorative Led options are available in most colors. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, pink, and purple are all options. Most regular light LEDs are classified as a different type of white. The main colors are “warm white” and “bright white”.

Yes, LED lighting makes great home lighting. LEDs can be used in, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Bedrooms, Home offices, Finished basements & more
LED lights can be used inside or outside. LEDs are weather resistant, can withstand extreme temperatures, and are usually waterproof.
With Illinois temperatures plummeting every winter, it’s important to have exterior lights which can handle the cold. LEDs are able to operate below 20 degrees. They can handle heat up to 185 degrees.
LED lights are usually waterproof or at least water-resistant. At LED Lightning Inc., we have lights specifically for use in and around pools.
Dimmer controls make using your LED lights as easy as pushing a button. Lower or increase the light based on your needs. RGB controllers can change the color of the light.
This will depend on how often the light is used. A constantly running LED will not last as long as an LED only used for a few hours each day.

On average, LED lights can last for at least 10 years of regular usage or 11,000+ hours. This is ten times longer than incandescent bulbs. Other LED lights can last anywhere from 25,000 to 50,000 hours.
Certain LED lights may require new bases to be installed. Custom lighting like LED tubes or Versa lights will need to be professionally installed. Overall, there’s more to adding new LED lights to a home or business than simply switching a bulb. With professionals from LED Lighting Inc., the process does not take significantly longer than installing new incandescent or fluorescent lights.
The initial cost of new LED lights is usually more expensive than traditional bulbs. However, the economic benefits are long-term: LEDs will last twice as long if not longer than traditional bulbs of a similar wattage. LEDs are also becoming less expensive as the technology to create them improves.
LED lights produce less heat than traditional light bulbs. However, any energy source can become warm over time.
Yes, LEDs contain UV light. However, they emit less UV light than fluorescent and incandescent bulbs. This means less damage on furniture, paint, and fabrics.
Yes, you can dim LED Tape Lights and Versa Bars with the use of a TDIM12V or TDIMDRIVER.
LED Tape Lights and Versa Bars can be dimmed with a standalone dimmer (TDIM12V) still requiring a driver or using our dimmer and driver in one (TDIMDRIVER). The TDIMDRIVER will need a specified Lutron CL Series or equivalent wall dimmer. Contact LED Lighting Inc. for more information.
This depends on the light:

12 VDC single color tape lights have a maximum run with minimal light loss of 32 feet. This can be increased up to 50 feet with a 24 VDC version of the tape light.

12 VDC RGB color changing tape lights have a maximum run of 16 feet, after which an RGB amplifier is required for every additional 16 foot section. This can be increased to 31 feet with the 24 VDC version.

The maximum run for our standard Versa Bar series (Vsx) is 12 feet. For our Extra Long series (XLR), you can run up to 30 feet without noticeable light loss.
You can go on with LED Tape Lights indefinitely, when you use the correct corresponding number of drivers and dimmers. (See “How Long Can LED Tape Lights and Versa Bars Run?”)
